In this 90 minute educational workshop, Dr. Seher, DPT, pelvic floor physical therapist, owner of Embodied Healing PT, and Traverse Coach, will break down how the pelvic floor works with your core, posture and breathing during strength training and high-intensity exercise. Participants will learn how to better manage pressure during movements like squats, deadlifts, and core exercises to support pelvic health and reduce symptoms such as pelvic organ heaviness or stress incontinence during exercise. This workshop is open to all genders and designed to help you feel more connected to your body during workouts.
Light refreshments and socializing will directly follow the class.
