Traverse Games 4.0 is coming in hot at Colorado School of Mines on Saturday, October 11th, and this time we’re playing in the daylight. Because sunburns fade, but stories never die.

Over the course of 4 hours, you and your team will compete in seven ridiculously fun, kinda intense challenges, and maybe meet your next workout partner (or future rival).

GAMES:

• SKI TO WIN
  • Welcome to your team’s date with the SkiErg. This is a game of lungs, grit, and strategy. How deep can you dig, and how smart can you rotate? The calories don’t lie. Every pull counts.
• BURY ME WITH THE BAG
  • You and your crew. One mile. One sandbag. And five brutal stations stand between you and the finish line. This one’s not about who’s strongest, it’s about who refuses to quit.
• FITNESS FLIP CUP
  • It’s college energy meets fitness grit. One by one, you’ll burpee, sip (maybe), and flip your way through this classic game-on-steroids. First team to finish wins the round, but only the steadiest move on.
• TRASH CAN CLASSIC
  • This isn’t your backyard toss. Welcome to the Trash Can Classic, where every team has three sets of five minutes, two footballs, and one goal: sink the shot, hit the can, and rack up as many points as possible. Precision beats power and hustle makes the difference.
• TUG OF WAR
  • You know it. You love it. You definitely feel the next day. Tug of War is back. 10 teams, one rope, and a whole lot of ego on the line. Pure strength, full-team coordination, and some serious footwork. Dig in, lock up, and don’t let go. Losers drop. Winners drag.
• MYSTERY EVENT
  • What’s the Traverse Games without a curveball? Teamwork, sharp communication, and on-the-fly adaptability will separate the podium finishers from the rest. Find out what it is only when you show up on Game Day

There’ll be food, drinks, music, and nonstop hype from start to finish. All you have to do is show up and bring your best energy.

It’s our biggest event of the year for a reason. We’ll see you on the turf.
